COURSE OUTLINE
A Modular Approach
The complete training curriculum for ValvePro is comprised of two modules:
| • |
Self-paced Computer Based Training (CBT) takes the average student approximately 40 hours to complete including taking the three online tests at the end of each section |
| |
| • |
Classroom Instruction and Hands-On Training over 3 consecutive days, concluding with a one-on-one practical 12 point test with the instructor |
Self-Paced Computer-Based Training
The ValvePro (CBT) program is designed to help students acquire the underlying theory and knowledge to identify typical valve malfunctions and the corresponding solutions to restore valve integrity. Successful completion of the CBT ‘final exam’ with a mark of 80% or higher is required for Certification.
Classroom Instruction and Hands-On Training Leading to Certification
Upon completion of CBT, students can bring what they have learned and apply it in the classroom environment and instructor-led lab sessions. All of our instructors are themselves Certified Valve Maintenance Technicians with years of technical and field experience. They are trained to transfer their knowledge in clear, practical terms. The training is so comprehensive that ValvePro certification is now recognized as an Occupational Health and Safety requirement in many jurisdictions.
