INTRODUCTION

ValvePro training is delivered as a combination of approximately 40 hours of self paced computer-based training, plus 3 days of classroom instruction and hands-on training. Completion of both components is a prerequisite to receive PETEX Valve Maintenance Technician Certification.

The overall objective of the ValvePro course is for students to acquire advanced knowledge of valve components and functions and the hands-on skills to properly maintain valve integrity.

ValvePro graduates return to their jobs with the knowledge and skills to increase the life span of their organization's valves, reduce fugitive emissions, and optimize efficiency at their facility. They will also benefit from an enhanced awareness of potentially hazardous situations and improved work practices.

Servicing valves or equipment under pressure is potentially dangerous. ValvePro advanced training gives graduates the skills to perform their work efficiently, and above all, safely.
